# FIX6 changelog

- Restored `ihas.properties` loading in `IMSApiDotNetBase`.
- Required file location: directly next to the actually loaded `IMSApiDotNet.dll`.
- The DLL directory is resolved from `typeof(IMSApiDotNetBase).Assembly.Location`; `AppContext.BaseDirectory` is used only if the assembly location is unavailable.
- The process current working directory and `Environment.SpecialFolder.Personal` are not searched.
- `itac.propdir` remains a readable/programmatic legacy property but does not redirect the physical property-file lookup.
- Property precedence remains `setProperty(...)` -> `ihas.properties` -> default/fallback.
- Shared behavior for `net48` and `netstandard2.0`.
- No legacy public method signature was changed from FIX5.
- `scripts/check-ihas-properties.ps1` verifies that conflicting files in CWD/`itac.propdir` are ignored and the DLL-directory file wins.
- Existing `scripts/check-legacy-binary-compat.ps1` remains included.
